My classroom is a wreck. I'm a piler, and I hate it. Today after searching for a set of keys for several minutes and knowing I had just set them down, I offered two classroom credits to the first person who could find the keys. Literally, before the challenge was out of my mouth, 5 students had located them. They don't teach you that extrinsic motivation is sometimes more efficient.
